All electrotechnical and electronical systems and devices can be influenced by electromagnetic signals, so that their intended functions are disturbed. Moreover, these devices can also cause electromagnetic disturbances which can influence other systems. The electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is a system and product property, which demands consideration within the design and development phase. The following topics are part of the lecture:
