The course mediates a deep understanding of information technology systems on practical examples. The students learn how to characterize simple information technology systems, which measuring techniques are needed and how they are applied and documented.
The practical course contains 10 courses which are hosted by the following chairs: Automation technology (ATP), communication acoustics (AIKA), medical technology (MT), photonics (PTT), digital communication systems (DKS) and multi-core architecture (MCA) The courses are: IT-VT1 : Line following (ATP) IT-VT2 : Autonomes vehicles (ATP) IT-VT3 : Source localization with microfon arrays (AIKA) IT-VT4 : Auditory Virtual Environment (AIKA) IT-VT5 : Ultrasound imaging – practical aspects (MT) IT-VT6 : Ultrasound imaging – signal processing (MT) IT-VT7 : Fiber transmission path (PTT) IT-VT8 : Orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (DKS) IT-VT9 : Digital modulations (DKS) IT-VT10 : Digital transmission path (MCA)
The first date is used as an introduction and Security policy. Therefore it is mandatory for all students who want to participate in the practical courses!
