content

The students prepare a short scientific talk. Preferentially, they submit it to a conference and present it to an international audience.

During the 10th CIRP conference on Photonic Technologies one of our students presented his published results (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.procir.2018.08.124) of his master thesis as part of the course “Research Project with conference participation”. The results were presented during the session USP2: Ultrashort pulse processes lead by Dr. Cvecek. The main research topics were the influence of different sacrificial layers on the effectiveness of ultrashort pulse laser shock peening. Additional research tasks were the analysis of produced shock progression in a post-process environment.
