The students gain the ability to analyze and properly solve complex tasks of integrating electro mobility into existing and future energy supply infrastructures.
In the lecture "Charging Devices of Electro mobility", first the challenges and basic concepts of such charging devices and their network connection will be explained. This is followed by a system overview, which considers in detail the coupling to the supply network, DC-DC converter types, advantages and disadvantages and applications. DC / DC converters with and without isolation, their circuit topologies and applications for electro mobility are presented in detail, followed by an overview of rectifiers and PFCs, their types, function, standards, grid connections, power filter and control. Non-contact energy transmission and charging devices, as well as the construction, connection and communication with the vehicle complete the lecture.
