Electromagnetic phenomena form the basis of almost all technical applications that are dealt with in the field of electrical engineering and information technology. The students master the physical nature of the fields and their interaction with matter, as well as the mathematical concepts suitable for their description. Students will be able to understand the derivation of Maxwell's equations from a few selected basic observations and use them as tools for modeling and simulating important phenomena.
- Mathematical basics
- Solution methods of field equations
- Regimes of electromagnetic problems, applications
Fundamentals of electrical engineering and mathematics, e.g. from the lectures
- General Electrical Engineering 1, 2 and 3
- Mathematics 1, 2 and 3
The lecture will be held in SS 2020 from April 19th, 20 as a mixture of lecture (via platform zoom) and self-learning.
There will be a first zoom meeting on Tuesday, April 19th.
