goals

Electromagnetic phenomena form the basis of almost all technical applications that are dealt with in the field of electrical engineering and information technology. The students master the physical nature of the fields and their interaction with matter, as well as the mathematical concepts suitable for their description. Students will be able to understand the derivation of Maxwell's equations from a few selected basic observations and use them as tools for modeling and simulating important phenomena.
