This practical course connects the theoretical circuit description and the practical circuit testing. The performed experiments are coupled to the accompanying lecture. After participation, students are able to operate electronic measurement equipment and can verify and test complex circuits.

content

Accompanying to the lecture „Electronics2“, this practical course teaches the two main topics of fundamental electronic circuitry: Operating point adjustment and signal transmission. By means of selected hands on experiments, the influence of ancillary conditions on the transfer stability of discrete and integrated circuits is investigated. The general transmission behavior and the parameter sensitivity against tolerances and parasitic effects is essential part of these investigations.

Referring to the study plan, this practical course is scheduled in winter term. However, due to the close connection to the lecture “Electronic 2”, this course is additionally offered in summer term. Because of the attuned syllabus between practical course and lecture, we recommend the participation of this course in parallel to the lecture.
